Tom Cruise Movie Rule

In honor of the recent TomKat wedding I thought it was about time to post my long held Tom Cruise movie rule. In addition, Laura Lynn and I recently watched Mission Impossible III (which we both thought was pretty good) and which backs up the rule. It is as follows: If he has short or medium hair, the movie will be good. If he had long hair the movie will stink. While I have not watched every Tom Cruise movie (thank goodness), here are more than a few that back up my hypothesis.

  • Legend - Long Hair - No need to watch, thumbs down
  • Top Gun - Short Hair - Classic, thumbs up
  • Rain Man - Medium Hair - Not for me, Neutral
  • Days of Thunder - Long Hair - Cruise and NASCAR?, thumbs down
  • A Few Good Men - Short Hair - I can handle the truth, thumbs up
  • The Firm - Medium Hair - Thumbs Up
  • Interview with a Vampire - Long Hair - Vampires? Thumbs down
  • Mission Impossible - Short Hair - Thumbs up
  • Jerry Macguire - Med Hair - Show me the hair, thumbs up
  • Eyes Wide Shut - Long Hair - No comment, thumbs down
  • MI2 - Long Hair - Who didn't have a mask on? Thumbs down
  • Vanilla Sky - Long Hair - Yikes, thumbs down
  • Minority Report - Short Hair - Thumbs up
  • War of the Worlds - Short Hair - Bacteria does kill, thumbs up
  • MI3 - Short Hair - Thumbs up

Here is a another tom cruise movie rule: tom cruise has a running scene in ever movie he makes. try and name one movie that he doesn't have a running scene
