Margaret Ruth Bell was dedicated to the Lord today at Asbury United Methodist Church. It was a truly special event and Maggie did great (no crying or spitting up). Today was especially humbling for LL and me, considering all we have been through. For those of you who don't know, we tried unsuccessfully to have a child for over two and a half years. It was a gut-wrenching time filled with disappointments and discouragement, but we never lost faith that God's will would be done. Now to have such a healthy, beautiful, happy baby is beyond words. Simply put, God has proven Himself mighty!After the service, everyone came over and had lunch at our house. By everyone I mean: LL's parents, LL's sister and her family, my sister and her family, and our friends the Cranstons. That's sixteen people: ten adults and six children. It was a lot of fun and there is no doubt that the kids and not the adults were in control.
